How often should I get a massage?

Typically I recommend my clients see me every 4-6 weeks, about once a month, to incorporate massage into their wellness program. However, if a client is having specific issues or has a specific condition they may receive different recommendations.

What is therapeutic massage?

Therapeutic massage is an advanced modality that utilizes a combination of massage techniques. It is typically used in support of and/or in addition to medical treatments of illness or injury to help alleviate pain, reduce stress, and aid in soft tissue healing. It can also enhance your overall health by providing relaxation, easing anxiety and releasing tight muscles.

What if I only want to relax?

Of course! Although therapeutic massage is also relaxing, we can provide you with a traditional Swedish massage to accomplish it, without the focus on a particular issue or problem.

Can I share my Package Series with someone else?

What is IASTM?

IASTM stands for Instrument-assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. By adding the "Scar Tissue/Adhesion Therapy" to your Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) Therapy session the therapist will incorporate the use of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) with Guasha tools and soft cupping to help align the collagen in scar tissue and fascia. These techniques also improve blood flow to the area, assisting with the healing process.
